Our Summer School, How Movement Works 2021, will take place between 5-9 July 2021.

We are able to offer up to eight bursaries to cover the cost of the intensive fees.

Thanks to the generous support of Evangeline Dobson Douglas’ family  and Victoria Worsfold Griffiths Bursary, we are able to offer eight bursaries to cover the cost of fees for How Movement Works, Online 2021

Award application criteria

Trinity Laban will award the gifts to eight dance teachers/ practicing artists to attend How Movement Works 2021 who, in the opinion of the awarding panel, meet the following criteria:

The successful applicants for the bursary places should be:

  • be a practicing artists or working / training as a dance teacher in UK schools, youth or community settings
  • demonstrate an interest in and commitment to contemporary dance practice
  • provide a statement of financial need
  • provide a strong and coherent rationale as to how attendance at the Trinity Laban How Movement Works, online intensive would further their professional development.

In addition, the successful applicants will be expected to provide a short report by 1 September following completion of the intensive, explaining how attendance at How Movement Works has supported their professional development.

Please email your CV and a cover letter outlining how the intensive How Movement Works, online 2021 would further your professional development.  This should also include a statement of financial need and ensuring you cover and demonstrate the above criteria.
