Application Process

Applications for BA (Hons) Musical Theatre Programme and Foundation Programme in Musical Theatre 2022/23 entry are now open.

Applications are processed via UCAS Conservatoires. The on-time UCAS Conservatoires application deadline for September 2022/23 entry is 26 January 2022 18:00. However, late applications may still be considered.

The UCAS Conservatoires service allows you to:

  • apply online for multiple conservatoires;
  • check the progress of your application, accept offers and confirm decisions online; and
  • work on your application anywhere you have internet access at any time.

You can provide your references after you’ve submitted your application. Please email them to admissions@trinitylaban.ac.uk.

If you are having specific issues with completing your application online, you can email them directly on webenquiries@ucas.ac.uk.

The Audition Process

Auditions will take place in February. All applicants will be given the choice to audition in-person or via Recorded Audition. Information on what you will need to provide will be sent to you upon the receipt of a UCAS Conservatiore application and can also be viewed on our auditions page for this programme.

Application Fees

As part of our commitment to Widening Participation, we can waive the application fee for students from low income backgrounds. If you think you might be eligible please email admissions@trinitylaban.ac.uk.

Entry Requirements

Trinity Laban places greater emphasis on its own audition and tests than on formal qualifications. As a guide, please keep in mind that the programme is aimed at students who are considering entry to undergraduate study at a conservatoire or university; we offer places to candidates who demonstrate the potential to reach that level within the year.

International Applicants

International applicants should meet the minimum entry level for entry to UK under Tier 4 (a minimum of IELTS Level 5.5 in all 4 elements) and should have the appropriate visa.
