We have a wide range of support available, ranging from practical support on your studies to help with issues of an emotional or personal nature.

The Trinity Laban Counselling Service is friendly and approachable, and free to all undergraduate and postgraduate students.

We are a team of highly experienced professional counsellors, available at both the Music and Dance Faculties between 9.30h and 20.30h Monday to Friday.

Counselling provides a confidential safe place where you can talk about any anxieties or difficulties that you may be experiencing. It is often easier to talk to someone not otherwise involved in your life, as this can help you gain new perspective on whatever is troubling you.

We have experience of working with a wide range of issues, including:

  • performance and academic problems
  • anxiety
  • sexuality
  • depression
  • eating disorders
  • self-harm
  • relationships
  • mental health issues

After an informal assessment session, you will normally be offered weekly sessions with one of our counsellors. Counselling sessions last 45 minutes and take place at the same time and location each week.

If you feel that counselling might be helpful for you, please contact Sarah Hall, the Senior Counsellor to arrange an assessment session.

Appointments take place at Cottage 1 at The Faculty of Dance and Rooms 220 & 244 at King Charles Court.
