"Being part of Transitions Dance Company was an incredible experience! I worked with inspiring choreographers and met some incredible friends who I have continued to work with professionally since graduating. The training at Laban focused on developing me as an artist which has had a profound impact on my career since."Daisy Farris
Daisy graduated from Trinity Laban in 2013 with a Masters in Dance Performance as part of Transitions Dance Company. In 2013 she established Daisy Farris Dance Collective, developing her choreographic work for theatre spaces. Her first two works were performed at UK festivals and platforms including Resolution, Footprint Dance Festival and Big Dance. In 2015, she was commissioned for the IN-SITE project by Medway Council, which increased her interest in site-specific work and dance film. Daisy Farris Dance Collective recently toured Daisy’s latest site-sensitive work, The Great Thames Disaster, which has been developed with visual artist Nicola Flower and incorporates an extended community cast alongside professional dancers. She has been commissioned as an independent choreographer by DanceFest, Trinity Laban and Loop Dance Company. Daisy also performs and creates work with Loop Dance Company and teaches on the Degree Programme at Bird College and the Learning and Participation Programme at Trinity Laban.
