Trinity Laban has helped me to build my career giving me exciting performance opportunities and a great chance to meet interesting and innovative people. Yasmin Ogilvie graduated in 2009 after receiving a first class BMus (Hons) in Performance (Saxophone) and is now a freelance saxophone player. She has performed with classical, funk, pop, jazz, Latin and big bands. She currently plays and tours internationally with Astraeus Saxophone Quartet and dance bands Hedkandi, Ministry of Sound and High on Heels and has recorded at Maida Vale, Pinewood and Abbey Road studios. Yasmin has played 1st Alto in the National Saxophone Choir, London Breakbeat Orchestra, London Irish Orchestra, London Arts Orchestra and the Dartington Festival Orchestra. She has been a guest entertainer on cruise ships, played at events for organisations like Chelsea FC and Microsoft and has performed with McFly, featuring in one of their music videos. Yasmin has performed at many venues including; Rhythms of the World Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Creamfields Festival, the Roundhouse, Cadogan Hall, St John’s Smith Square and Southbank Centre.
