May Tether

Musical Theatre Performer

Musical Theatre

Trinity Laban's Musical Theatre course helped me to push myself, and taught me how to grow as an artist and how to use my skills as a performer when out in the industry. The course helped me realise that there are so many avenues into the musical theatre industry and now I feel confident, after my training, to pursue any of the different pathways knowing I have an understanding of stagecraft and how to use my skills in my work.

Credits include: Cinderella in A Very Very Bad Cinderella (The Other Palace), Florrie/Marion Davies in The Remarkable Tale of Dorothy Mackaill (East Riding Theatre), Jessie in Halls The Musical (The Turbine Theatre), Drama Club Drama Queen/Understudy in Heathers the Musical (The Other Palace, UK and Ireland tour and Heathers the Musical movie on Amazon Prime), ensemble in Taboo the musical (The London Palladium), Lily in Moby Dick (The John Godber Company), Donna in City of Angels (Bonnie Bird Theatre), Charity Hope Valentine in Sweet Charity (Blackheath Halls), One Fabulous Evening, and she appeared in various concerts including Roles We’ll Never Play (West End live and the Union Theatre), and appeared as the host of Spotlight on the Future (Wonderville).
