Trinity Laban is a very inspiring place - every day I would walk in and feel excited to be here. They offer so much: such a variety of classes and workshops, and all to such a high standard. I also really enjoyed meeting people from all over the world.
The dance science research that I’ve conducted and I’ve been exposed to over the last year has informed my practice so much more in terms of alignment; in terms of recovery; in terms of all the aspects that are really important in dance training. I don’t believe it has affected my creativity; I still feel like I am being really creative, but there’s an added foundation there for how to manage myself as a dance artist.
The teaching at Trinity Laban has felt very well-informed. I feel like all the teachers have a great deal of experience in the industry, and they all offer something unique to their teaching. And they’re very proactive in the dance science world: whether it’s the conferences, or being up to date with the journals or the papers that we should read. I always feel like there’s a wealth of knowledge that exists within the staff here.
I think Trinity Laban has been a very inspiring place to be. Every day I walked in and felt excited to be here. They offer so much – such a variety of classes and workshops, and everything is to such a high standard. I really enjoyed that; and I really enjoyed meeting people from all over the world.
