Claire Kidwell

Biography

Claire studied music at Oxford University, then Librarianship at UCL. She came to Trinity Laban in 2003 from the British Library, where she worked as a music cataloguer. Other professional duties have included being Secretary to the Music Libraries Trust and Treasurer of the UK & Ireland branch of the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centres. She is currently Chair of the IAML (UK & Irl) Trade & Copyright Committee and represents IAML (UK & Irl) on the Libraries and Archives Copyright Alliance. A pianist and clarinettist from an early age, she now sings with the Holst Singers and has a somewhat unhealthy penchant for Victorian church music.
