We run days for school/college groups comprising of A level, AS level, BTEC Level 3, and keen GCSE and BTEC Level 2 dance students.

The days are ideal for those who are considering full-time training in contemporary dance or those who would like to know more about Higher Education and careers in the dance sector.

Visit Trinity Laban for a full day, take part in classes, hear about the BA Contemporary Dance programme and view the facilities at the Laban building in Deptford.

Taster Days begin at 10.00h with registration and finish at 16.00h. Watch residents Transitions Dance Company in rehearsal or other professional dance training activities. Take part in contemporary technique and creative sessions led by a member of our faculty. Teachers may join in too! Students should bring suitable clothing to move in. We have a café but students are welcome to bring a packed lunch.

We can not reserve places by telephone or via post. Please book early as days are popular and are filled on a first come first served basis. Trinity Laban will raise an invoice for your school if you are unable to pay online - please still book places on the online shop.

Due to limited places, only one visit per group (of up to 15 students) may be made per academic year. Each group must have at least 1 accompanying adult.

No refunds are available once places are booked.

If you are unable to book on a Taster Day then it is possible to arrange a one-off visit/workshop for your school - for further information about this please click here.

For further information or any queries, please contact Katy Pearce at t.bowes@trinitylaban.ac.uk.

Please note these days are not suitable for individuals. If you are an individual who will be applying to study BA (Hons) Contemporary Dance please see our Open Days.
