Originally from New Zealand, Liz was awarded a scholarship to study at the Royal Ballet School, graduating into the Royal Ballet Company, Covent Garden, where she danced in all the major classics including new work by Kenneth MacMillan. She has also danced as a soloist with Ballet for All UK and the New Zealand Ballet. In 1991 she completed the Professional Dancers Teachers’ Course and has since taught at many of the leading Dance establishments both in the UK and abroad, including Showa Academia Musicae, Japan, Central School of Ballet, Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance, Elmhurst Ballet School, the Royal Ballet’s Scholarship scheme for talented young dancers and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. She is a regular guest teacher at Summer Schools in the UK, Italy, Singapore, and Japan and guest teacher for Tavaziva Dance, Phoenix Dance, Joss Arnott Dance and Transitions Dance Company.
